My life has changed quite a bit in the past year. One of the major contributors to that is the focus of this series of photos: my little (Space) oddity.
Newly arrived here on Earth, this is a photographic depiction of her exploring her new surroundings as she learns what it’s like to be an Earthling.
The music selection on Earth is lightyears better than on Mars. You wouldn’t believe what life on Mars is like.
This is decor out of this world! I’m not sure how they managed to get a photo of my neighbours Blarg and Wendy, but it’s great seeing familiar faces.
Whole Foods is a little misleading, a lot of these items look like they’ve been disassembled. Especially over in the meat section.
This Earthly contraption is a whole heck of a lot of fun. I keep wanting to go higher and higher. I wonder if I can get it to loop around that top bar?
The planet seems to have wet itself. I’m finding more and more things we have in common.
I asked them to take me to their leader. They told me that section wasn’t part of the public tour.
So much knowledge all in one place! I wonder if they have a book that translates Martian to Human? It could help with the communication barrier that I keep facing.
Side Note: I wonder why the human who calls himself “Father” keeps making fart noises with his mouth whenever he sees me? I laugh right in his face, but that only seems to encourage him.
Finally, I can take my photo in front of the “Earth” sign.
I wonder if this place is any better than that cantina on Tatooine?
Oh boy! I can’t wait to tell Groot that I found his cousins! These ones say even less than he does!
Alright, that’s enough. TAXI!!!
I want to give a big shout out to my partner, and mother of my child who was the creative director on this project. She is my biggest inspiration. Please check out her whimsical and wonderful illustrations here: malgosiakrol.com/
